Nestled within the vibrant heart of Sodepur on the northern fringes of the city, The Food Geeks stands as a testament to both gastronomic adventures and the bond of friendship. It was established by a collective of six school friends, each a “geek” in their own way, with a shared passion for food. From a selection of coffees and shakes to burgers, pastas, and more, one can find a host of affordable and filling offerings here. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are sizeable and the taste, flavourful. The ambience, too, is undeniably relaxing with board games, comics, and novels available, not only for a good time but also as a testament to the cafe’s geeky vibes.
“This place is a passion project for us friends. We have been friends since school and even though we all have our different professional careers, we wanted to do something together. Our aim with this cafe is not just to scale profits but rather to provide an affordable and relaxing space for people to come and enjoy their time at. We chose to serve continental because it is not very easily available around here and we carefully pick our ingredients to serve the best quality,” said Sanhita Bhattacharyya, one of the six owners of The Food Geeks.
