Bunaphile, the quaint and cute cafe on Hindustan Park, has now expanded to a massive second outlet on Southern Avenue, opposite Rabindra Sarobar Lake.

The 200-seater cafe is spread over multiple zones and encompasses an area of over 7,000 sqft. The theme of the decor is based around oldworld Calcutta bungalows, steeped in tradition and quintessential Bengali artefact-heavy décor pieces.

The coffee menu remains the same as the first outlet, while the food menu has a wide variety of options, ranging from kebabs to continental prepartions, dim sum, salads, and sushi.

Done in shades of white with pops of yellow, the entire space follows the same colour scheme. Iron chairs in white along with two private cabanas make up the outer area. The checkered floor also complements the white-andyellow scheme with potted plants in abundance.

Kesar Pista Cheesecake: Served with a generous helping of rabri, this cheesecake is a mithai lover’s dream come true. The flavours of saffron, pistachio and cream cheese amalgamate to create a harmonious bite.

Beetroot and Quinoa Kebabs: Crisp on the outside, and meltin-the-mouth on the inside, with a cheesy surprise, we loved this healthy kebab.
