“I was very impressed by one of the 2D-themed cafes I visited during a holiday in Japan. I wanted to bring that almost surreal experience to Kolkata,” says the owner of the restaurant Somoshree Sengupta
The monochromatic sketches on the walls of the restaurant that create a sense of optical illusion were painted from scratch by Somoshree and her friends
The restaurant offers a range of cuisines primarily focussing on delicacies from China. Korean, Japanese and Thai dishes are also available
Patrons can enjoy a variety of colourful and refreshing mocktails at the restaurant like (L-R) What-A-Melon (Rs 160) and Green Sea (Rs 140)
A bowl of scrumptious Dan Dan noodles (Rs 280)
A plate of Yum Woon Sen Salad (Rs 240). ‘Woon Sen’ means glass noodles in Thai
Guests at the restaurant. According to the owner, around 100-120 people visit the 35-seater restaurant daily
