Monsoon is a great time for treats, especially when you’re cosying up at home. Be it a solo OTT binge session or chai and chat with family, something sweet always helps elevate the mood.
Keeping this in mind, Preetanjali Pasari of Butterfingers by Preetanjali has launched a monsoon menu that’s tasty, comforting and full of nostalgia. Using seasonal fruits, berries, and loaded flavours of Lindt and coffee, the menu has something for everyone.
The Telegraph gets you some faves from the menu.
Lindt Truffle Cake: A biscuit base, 70 per cent dark Lindt chocolate bits in the filling, chocolate sponge and a delectable Lindt chocolate mousse, topped with Lindt truffles, this one is definitely going to be a bestseller on the menu, and a kids fave.
(L-R) Coffee & Cookies Cake: This cake combines Preetanjali’s personal favourites – cookies and coffee into one delicious cake! Vanilla sponge soaked in espresso, with coffee mousse, this one is a great breakfast cake idea.
Lindt Caramel Macarons: These macarons are filled with a 56 per cent Lindt filling and a centre of soft salted caramel. We bet you cannot stop at one! The rose pink colour is an added touch of beauty.

Whole Wheat Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie: Cookies are yummy, but they’re even better when they’re healthier! Replacing refined flour with whole wheat, this chocolate chip cookie is a perfect pick-me-up for anyone who’s looking for a healthy indulgence.
“The onset of monsoon makes everything fresher. I took this moment to just set the perfect mood to design and curate a monsoon menu while sipping on a warm cup of coffee and hearing the soft pitter-patter music of the raindrops. The cakes on the menu are wholesome with a touch of nostalgia, to bring back fond food memories, the healthy cookies and macarons make for the perfect indulgence to go with a steaming cup of tea or coffee. After all, grey monsoon skies, rainy dreams and fresh smell of a rain-washed Calcutta is a total vibe,” said Preetanjali Pasari, chef and owner, Butterfingers by Preetanjali.
