Criollo Chocolates are the latest sinfully good offerings at Craft Coffee

The launch event saw some fine gourmet chocolates curated keeping in mind the palate of certain countries

Craft Coffee in Ballygunge celebrated World Chocolate Day on July 7 with the launch of their in-house gourmet chocolates named Criollo. The launch event saw some fine gourmet chocolates curated keeping in mind the palate of certain countries.

“We are delighted to announce the launch of Criollo Chocolates from the house of Craft Coffee on the special occasion of World Chocolate Day. We believe that chocolate has the incredible power to elevate the flavours of various ingredients, making everything better. It is not only a delicious treat but also has health benefits and is a proven mood lifter in moderate quantities. We were honoured to have esteemed dignitaries whose presence added a touch of elegance to the event, emphasising the global significance of chocolate. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our guests for their presence and support. Together, we celebrated World Chocolate Day in a truly memorable and international way,” said Dipraj Das and Abhinav Kumar, co-founders, Craft Coffee.

Created specifically for the Australian consulate general, these Banana Caramel Bonbon are filled with 55 per cent pure coverture bean to bar Criollo Chocolate with banana fruit puree ganache and caramel biscoff inside. Tastes absolutely delicious.

Cute heart-shaped Mango Chilli Bonbon were made exclusively for the Thai consulate. Each bonbon is crafted with coverture made from single-origin fine flavoured cacao filled with seasonal Alphonso mango puree layered with a green chilli white chocolate ganache that will take you by surprise once you bite into these.

Raspberry Mint Bonbon has a fusion of fruity, chocolatey and fresh aftertaste, due to the usage of ingredients like mintinfused dark chocolate ganache and raspberry puree. These were curated for the British Deputy High Commission.
