After a successful chain of cafes all over Indian, in cities like Pune, Mumbai, Goa and Delhi among others, Buddy’s Espresso stepped into Eastern India with their first outlet in Calcutta. With ambitions already to expand further in the region, the cafe brings innovative continental food at a reasonable price. Spread over 1,300sq ft, the 52-seater cafe on Southern Avenue is pretty and provide you with a lot of Instragrammable photo options.
“From the start, the aim has been to provide the regular crowd with good and innovative food at an affordable range. Thus, people would feel comfortable to come every day to spend some quality time here,” said Apurv Chokhani, who’s bringing the brand to Eastern India. With some really innovative items on the menu, t2 was very curious to go through it!

Four Topping Pizza Veg large: The pizza here is a classic, and the best part is that it still manages to stand out. The sauce is specially imported from Italy, while the cheese is made in-house. The crust is fine and makes this pizza a winner from the menu. Rs 655
Gondhoraj Chicken: This crunchy delicacy shows how simplicity is just what’s needed sometimes! Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, the chicken here has the delicate flavour of gondhoraj lebu, which adds another layer to the flavour. Rs 180
Spaghetti and Meat Ball: Spaghetti and meatballs is an Italian fave. This classic combination has beautifully spiced spaghetti, which is accompanied by saucy meatballs, combined to make a filling meal. Rs 450
Whiskey Barrel Cold Brew: This is as unique as coffee can get! Being non-alcoholic, yet this coffee has a distinct flavour of whisky in it, which comes from coffee beans that have been aged for a long time in whisky barrels. This brew is sure to have a separate fanbase among whisky lovers! Rs 210
