Brio Kitchen, housed inside Brio Hotels in Salt Lake Sector III, is the latest addition to dine dens in the region. With tastefully done interiors in gold, beige and white, the 2,200sq ft diner is quite welcoming. Elegant and classy seating make for a comfortable dine-in experience and glass chandeliers add to the aesthetics. The menu features Kolkata’s favourite cuisines — North Indian, Continental, Chinese, Tandoori and more. We sampled a few bites and sips from their kitchen and loved each of them for their flavour. A plate full of aromatic biryani with succulent pieces of meat is a celebration.

This Oriental dish, Ginger Fish with Pepper Rice, is tossed in bellpepers and other veggies to create a wholesome recipe.

Chicken Roulade can be opted as an appetiser. Filling and flavourful, it comes with toast, sauteed veggies and a soup.

Bengali fare is also part of the menu and we opted for this creamy Dahi Katla that goes really well with steamed rice.

Fish Cornfitters is a take on the classic fish ’n chips and the crispy profile of the appetiser scored high on taste.

From the classic mocktail menu, we sipped on a refreshing Pineapple Blossom.

“The idea was to create a destination for city gastronomes as well as travellers. It meets world-class standard at an affordable price. Brio Hotels offers classy rooms with great hospitality while Brio Kitchen offers multi-cuisine in a fine-dining space. Continental and North Indian food is the focus here and I am sure people will love Brio,” said founders Bijon Halder and Dipayan Halder.
