While January gives way to the month of love, Bianco’s special lineup is a celebration of just that. This quaint bistro offers a range of European delights that caters to patrons with a discerning palate. The curation reflects designer Rohan Pariyar’s vision as an artist, who loves to experiment with culinary art as a manifestation of his creative pursuits. Consulting chef Ratan Das who puts his technical prowess into executing it. The menu packs in an eclectic melange of visually tempting and tasty flavours. Blending European vibes with contemporary notes and minimal alterations, these are some of the most sought-after items that you can relish, while you are out on a date this Valentine’s season. t2 checked out all that’s on offer.

BBQ Lamb and cheese is made with sourdough bread stuffed with barbecued lamb that is gradually slow cooked, this dish is served with some lip smacking fries and fresh greens to make sure that you have a hearty treat.

Harissa butter roast prawn has the strong scent of fresh shrimp chunks. The bistro’s in-house harissa butter is the queen of this dish that is responsible for accentuating the flavours of roasted, marinated prawns and lending a smoky, peppery feel to the same.

“It’s very instinctive for me to be into fashion. It’s all about art. For me, it’s art because all of the pieces are so personal to me. However, the idea of decorating, doing some sort of artwork and presenting food in a nicer way was simultaneously growing in me. I wanted to pursue both of them together, which is why, from this year onwards, I thought of shaping Bianco in the same way. I have been associated with Bianco since Day One because I was always fond of doing my creative bit there. Starting this Valentine’s season, we have tried to put together a palate of flavours that have not been explored at Bianco before. We made sure that you eat through your eyes first. I believe, Calcutta is just very open to trying any cuisine, which further provides us with the ground to nurture ideas and thoughts on similar line,s” said Rohan Pariyar, founder of Bianco.
