Soul of Bengal in Rajdanga opens doors to a hearty welcome to patrons that Bengal is known for through its enriching Bengali dishes that have been existing for quite some time now. It houses several signature and famous nibbles for a fulfilling appetite that will not make you feel away from home. This cozy, 34-seater restaurant spread over an area of 850 sq ft makes way for an ideal destination to experience a satisfactory lunch or dine-in option with your friends and family that evokes an authentic Bengali charm and spells everything comfortable and homely.

What is Bengali snacking sans a fish fry? This authentic Calcutta snack is made with fresh bhetki marinated with coriander, mint and parsley paste with other Indian spices. Its crispiness is ascribed to the way it is coated with breadcrumbs, consequently followed by deep frying.

Dessert platter: A wholesome Bengali meal is incomplete without sweets and you can easily opt for these wonderful and lovely desserts ranging from Baked Mihidana, Baby Rosogolla, Baby Gulab Jamun, Malpua and soft balls of kheer with rabri that you can pair according to your dishes as per your choice.

Every recipe that we have curated here has been gifted to us by our real chefs at home who truly understand the genesis, the journey of each ingredient and recipe of Bengali food. In addition to the food, we also have a range of teas by our sister brand The Brewing Leaf. Each of them is directly sourced by us, tasted in-house, packed and presented to you. We have a range of teas. We also have a range of sweets that are also a creation of our in-house sweet makers. We aim to present the real Bengal here to you on a plate and that is where we believe our authenticity lies”, said co-owners Dhruv Grover (right) and Anirudh Gupta.
