The revamped Bakstage Gourmet has bright and floral vibes as the interiors are painted in pastel shades to denote the lotus in their logo and also other neutral shades like peaches and whites. The upholstery is white with floral cushioned chairs and bright-coloured tables to add a pop of colour to your dining experience. Green elements like the plants add a positive vibe to the place. Bakstage then, Bakstage Gourmet now. The immensely popular and one of the first party places in Sector V that gave the essence of nightlife to that part of the city, is now back in a new avatar.

Spread across 7,500sq ft, Bakstage Gourmet is housed on the first floor of Beyzaa Hotel & Suites and has a new logo with tropical feel featuring a lotus that represents purity, rebirth and strength.

The earlier Bakstage had interiors of a lounge with darker hues but now Bakstage Gourmet is redecorated to lighten up the mood and to add the height, light and space factor to give the place a more airy vibe.

In sync with the lotus, the interiors of this fine-dine space is painted in pastel shades of pink, peach and white. The 117-seater restaurant serves Western as well as Indian food.

“It’s been nine years of Bakstage, which has been not only a pub but an emotion to the people. We were the pioneers of nightlife in Sector V. Calcutta at that time was more of a nightclub market, and Bakstage was a place where people could dine all day, party and chill. With Bakstage Gourmet we wanted to have a space where people can spend long casual hours and have a fine-dining experience. It is more open, green and it has a wonderful view of the outdoors. We will be serving Western breakfast to lunch and dinner, which is open both for the hotel residents who want to come down and have a great time and also non-residential guests. A place where all kinds of age groups can come in and spend some beautiful time,” said Sudhir Ahuja, managing director of Beyzaa Hotel & Suites.
