Situated on a bustling thoroughfare in South Calcutta, Babumoshai relaunches in a new avatar, adding a new dimension to the already rich curations that the versatility of Bengali cuisine boasts of. Besides, the 80-seater restaurant’s modern cuisine also celebrates flavours reminiscent of old Delhi. “What we wanted to do was provide a twist to the Bengali as well as the North Indian food that our customers are used to eating. So, we wished to bring a little twist with new flavours and fusions. Ambience-wise, too, we have worked on making sure that the place has this modern vibe, besides maintaining an old-world charm,” said Roshni Aditya, managing director, Aditya Group, which owns Babumoshai.
