Cricket icon Yuvraj Singh officially inaugurated Yuvraj Singh Centres of Excellence (YSCE) and Merlin Group’s state-of-the-art High-Performance Centre at Merlin Rise Sports Republic in Calcutta on January 13. The High-Performance Centre, a collaborative initiative with the Merlin Group, promises to redefine cricket training and coaching with its cutting-edge infrastructure, advanced technology, and residential facilities. YSCE (Yuvraj Singh Centres of Excellence) is a pioneering initiative led by cricket legend Yuvraj Singh, aiming to provide world-class training and coaching facilities to aspiring athletes across India. YSCE aims to transform India into a sporting powerhouse by nurturing talent at the grassroots level and promoting excellence in sports.

The Advanced Training Programme, designed by Yuvraj Singh and his coaching panel, offers a one-year intensive training meticulously researched to meet contemporary cricketing demands. The programme includes personalised coaching, mental conditioning sessions, fitness tests, and in-depth video analysis for technical improvement. Merlin Group's collaboration with YSCE aims to elevate cricket development in East India, nurturing young talent and empowering the next generation of athletes. “I’ve been a fan of Yuvraj Singh since his debut match. I’ve grown a lot with my job, and family but my love for him has stayed the same. Yuvraj Singh is like God to me.
