The Family Christmas party at The Bengal Club in association with The Telegraph, brought in festive cheer early at the iconic Russell Street club. And, from tots to the young-at- heart, regaled in the yuletide spirit and enjoyed themselves thoroughly on December 15. The club too was decked up for the occasion with red and green dominating the decor and the members’ fashion. The gorgeous Christmas tree and fairy lights added to the fervour.
We loved how brothers Viv and Vir Lilaram twinned in their T-shirts, custom-made especially for Christmas.
The party was a blissful scene of grandparents and grandkids having a merry time together.
While the kids enjoyed being tricked at the Turkish ice cream stall, the parents had a hearty laugh.
Christopher Lobo sang Christmas carols to which everyone swayed along.
Adding to the joyful evening was a tasty spread comprising Chicken Slider and Mince Pies.
Club Speak
“Apart from the main Christmas party this is one of the traditional parties of the club specially arranged for the children; it’s fun and frolic all over. The smile on their faces and their parents’ is worth cherishing,” said Kunal Sen, the club president.
“With younger members joining the club, the party allows family members to bond and older members to reminisce the past; it’s the perfect yuletide season. And we are so happy that everyone is having a great time. I wish all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” said Nandini Ray, chairperson, entertainment committee.
