Underwater-themed carnival at Bengal Rowing Club adds aquatic fun to Christmas celebration

Christmas Under Water presented by The Bengal Rowing Club, in association with t2, was a heartwarming celebration of Christmas. Hosted inside the club premises on December 24 and 25, the event witnessed children and adults having a fun time. While the games and other fun activities kept the children amused, it was a sheer delight for others to click pictures in the interestingly decorated club premises and indulge in warm savouries. The games and activities were named according to the theme, making it even more tempting for the kids to give it a try. Even Santa Claus was called Santa Jaws, whose entry at the carnival was a much-anticipated moment. Glimpses:

MUSIC

DJ RD Rajat played foottapping numbers throughout to set the vibe of the carnival right. “For the last five years I have been performing in the Bengal Rowing Club. I mostly play Bollywood music, Christmas carnival songs, hip-hop and commercial music,” he said.

CLUB SPEAK

“The Bengal Rowing Club has been organising the Christmas carnival for more than 25 years. The underwater theme along with the stupendous decorations of the carnival this year made it a unique event. There were a variety of rides and games for all age groups. The food was highly appreciated,” said Manish Rungta, president, The Bengal Rowing Club.
