Kitty Su’s The Ultimate Drag Christmas Eve Pink Pride Fundraiser at The Lalit Great Eastern rooftop was an unforgettable night. The fundraiser was organised two days before the Kolkata Rainbow Pride Walk in an effort to raise funds for the walk. The glamorous night saw performances from Rani KoHEnur, Betta Naan Stop, John, Dame Imfala, Zeesh and MX. Stallion. The music was handled by K-Sat. A crowd of over 500 people gathered under the open sky as they sang and danced in an inclusive environment.

Sushant Divgikr in her drag avatar, Rani KoHEnur, dazzled on stage as she sang songs like Pari hoon main, Mayya mayya and Kaisi paheli hai ye. On the request of the audience, she also sang the Marathi song Apsara ali with her fantastic voice modulation, ranging from a high-scale female voice to a unique male-baritone.

Zeesh made a powerful appearance on stage as they spoke to the audience about empowerment and unity while a Pride flag was held behind them.

Betta Naan Stop came all the way from Delhi to attend the Ultimate Drag Christmas Eve and killed it on the stage with their satin robe and dancing stick.

It was MX. Stallion’s first time performing in Calcutta and the Mumbai-based performer killed it with his Freddie Mercury-themed performance

John was welcomed with one of the loudest cheers as he stripped off his shirt to showcase his well-built body and elegant moves.

Kamal Raza, resident manager at The Lalit Great Eastern, said, "As a company, we strongly believe in inclusivity and the driving source behind this is Keshav Suri who is an inspiration to all of us. Nowadays, most companies talk about diversity but I feel ours is a company that does not just pink wash but we sincerely believe in it and we want to do more."

Kolkata Pride co-initiator, Navonil Das, was bubbling with excitement as he hosted the night.
