Furry Tales Dog Creche co-owned by the lovely pet parents Sayantani Chattopadhyay and Saptarshi Dasgupta (mother and father of furry babies Bigloo, Oreo, Claire and Lokki) organised The Furry Fiesta, a pet dog carnival and awareness campaign, near Ruby on January 15, and we indulged in a super furry Sunday. The fiesta held at RR Plot Jheel Ground witnessed many four-legged babies gather in fancy costumes to walk the ramp, indulge in lots of fun in the Ball Pit Area, get some ’Gram worthy pictures in the Pet Photography & Selfie Zone and munch on tasty treats. The happy event ended with a prize distribution for our furry friends.
There were fun games and activities and stalls set up to spoil the pets for good. It was great to see so many pet parents gather in one spot to celebrate their number one source of joy — their pawsome friends. Tollywood actress Darshana Banik was the special guest judge for the fashion show and actor and singer Shaheb Chattopadhyay dropped by too.
We loved how the food stall Baked Treats dedicated their culinary expertise to spoil the pooches with some tasty delights and baked pizza (safe for dogs).
All in all, a lit day for Calcutta’s pets.
Fashionable babies stole the show

BAKED TREATS: “I started my baking journey three years back and positive reviews encouraged me. I baked the very first birthday cake for a furry baby named Maya after researching ingredients for a pet cake. I use all homemade ingredients and these furry friends seemed to like it a lot,” said Piyali Gupta, founder at Baked Treats.
GREEN FRESH PETS: We spotted some handcrafted and natural dog food treats and chews. The dehydrated treats were much loved by the furry friends who gathered there. “Dehydrated dog food is way healthier than other processed dog food. It’s super healthy with high protein and it requires minimal processing. It retains maximum nutrition and is quite good for oral health,” said Snigdha Banik, founder, Green Fresh Pets.

“I have never been to such a cute event and met so many furry babies all in one place. I feel excited watching them come dressed up. At some point I’d like to have a dog of my own,” said Darshana Banik.
“I love animals and I have dogs of my own at home. I believe those who do good for them the universe returns positive vibes to them. When my furry friends came home my life transformed for the better. It’s their love that’s unconditional and irreplaceable,” said Shaheb Chattopadhyay
