The Saturday Club's Village Fair celebrated unity in diversity

Celebration was extended to menu as well with different regional cuisines making up delicious spread

Myriad colours and flavours of India came alive at the Village Fair, the signature event of The Saturday Club in association with The Telegraph. An annual affair that is being celebrated for around 50 years now, it brings together members to celebrate diversity and uniqueness. Both male and female members of the club, dressed in traditional attires, put up a spectacular performance that filled everyone with joy. The celebration was extended to the menu as well with different regional cuisines making up the delicious spread. Glimpses.

Sanish Magon, entertainment convener, with wife Harmeet. He said: “The Village Fair at The Saturday Club is a 50-year-old signature event, an event which started as a get-together of families and has today become a platform to recognise the culture and heritage of India. This year we showcased ‘Incredible India’ with the states of India being represented through their food, folk dances and local wares.”
