With the festive season drawing nearer, it is time to prep for a delicious cake. The Oberoi Grand was all set for the very same at their cake-mixing ceremony. An all-ladies event, the ceremony saw women from various walks of life come together to mix the ingredients. An abundance of wine and spirits flowed into the mix of various fruits and nuts that were prepared.

The richness of the cake could be anticipated from the beautiful smell wafting from the cake mix, sufficiently mixed with a hand from everyone present.

“The celebrations are just hitting a crescendo, as we warm up to everybody’s favourite month — December. I am elated to ring in the festivities at The Oberoi Grand with our most-valued guests after a two-year hiatus. Cake mixing, the age-old Christmas tradition, marks the beginning of the joyful season that we all so eagerly wait for year on year. The hotel lobby comes alive with the sounds of Christmas carols and we look forward to welcoming our guests as we have a host of events planned across the Christmas week, leading up to the new year,” said Mayan Dhawan, hotel manager, The Oberoi Grand.
