Minu Budhia who is known for her exemplary work in the field of mental health, has shared a chunk of her life in her memoir Death of a Caterpillar. The book is not just a slice of her life and anecdotes but is also a manual for women and men, young and old to understand and be more empathetic towards mental health issues. Just like the affable author, her book is also honest and straight from her heart and in simple narrative form it narrates her struggle and her journey so far. She launched the book with husband Sanjay Budhia, Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay, Dr Sashi Panja, Firhad Hakim, and Lt. Gen. R.P. Kalita in the presence of a packed audience from different walks of life who certainly appreciated the intent behind the event at Hyatt Regency Kolkata on January 7.
