The Bengal Chamber, under its newly-constituted Wellness and Communities Committee, chaired by Dr Ratna Sinha and VP HRM, Tata Metaliks Limited, organised a first-of-its-kind session named Celebrating Employee Wellness, highlighting the need for amplification of employee productivity leading towards positive financial growth of an organisation. The initiative talked about the four major pillars of wellness — physical, mental, emotional and social wellness. Professionals from all spheres of the industry — HR, L&D professionals, senior managers, team leaders, and all relevant industry stakeholders took part in the programme.

“Wellness as an element of well-being encompasses the broader holistic dimensions of a well-lived life. It is a global scenario wherein most people are facing these unsettled times whether in the corporate sector, institutions or even at home. Based on that, the Wellness & Communities committee decided to work on a much-needed thought-sharing workshop,” said Dr Sinha.
