The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 begins this Sunday, October 16 as Sri Lanka take on Namibia. India’s first match in the tournament is, however, scheduled for next Sunday.

“As of now, South City Mall, Quest Mall and Forum Mall will telecast the matches live. The screening will kick off with the high-octane India-Pakistan match on October 23. As the tournament proceeds, we will decide on the shows,” said Amitava Guha Thakurta, regional director of INOX.

The tickets will be priced at Rs 300 to Rs 900, depending on the property and the seating arrangements.

“Usually, the tickets are sold a day or two before the big-ticket matches. We haven’t finalised the modalities yet. Going by the huge demand in the past, we are optimistic,” Guha Thakurta said.

To accommodate the matches, the show timings for films will be rejigged.
