The CFL Junior 2024, the eighth leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour, took place at Tollygunge Club between July 31 and August 1. The tournament, affected by heavy downpour and lightning, was reduced to a 27-hole event with a nine-hole second round.
Subhradip Das emerged victorious in the A & B Boys’ category, shooting one under par in round one and three over par in round two, resulting in a total of two over par. Ahaan Gupta finished second with a score of 116.
In the B Boys’ division, Rehan Naidu secured the win with a score of 116, while Arghya Shah followed closely in second place with 117. Arkaprovo Chaudhury triumphed in the C Boys’ division with a score of 123, and Krishiv Rungta finished second with 127. Ayaan Mimani claimed first place in the D Boys’ category with a score of 144, four shots ahead of Ayushman Sana, who finished second.
In the A & B Girls’ category, Kashissh Khanna won with a score of 147, while Uravi Mall finished second with 189. Julinka Roy Chowdhury emerged as the winner in the C Girls’ category with a score of 123, followed by Hissi Besra in second place with 160. Amaira Gulati won the D Girls’ category with a score of 132, and Aarya Jhunjhunwala finished second with 189.
In the E Boys’ category, Yugaansh Agarwal topped the leaderboard with a score of 91, while Aayansh Prasad finished second with 92. Aaira Khaitan won the E Girls’ category with a score of 104, with Ahana Khaitan finishing second with 106. Rajdeep Paul emerged victorious in the special category.
