Amaal was swarmed by admirers when he got off the stage to meet his fans, waiting to click a selfie with him. "Calcutta is home for me in a way. My first ever show... the first time I went on stage after delivering my first few hit songs in Bollywood happened in Calcutta. So whenever I come back here, it brings back so many memories. It’s an honour to play anywhere in Calcutta because the audience is very respectful, loving towards musicians, listen to varied music and are listeners of melodious music. I love the food as well and now very soon I plan to come stay for a week or so, that’s how much I love this place. It was truly nostalgic to see the same city I came for my first gig flooded today with standees and posters of myself. This was the best way I could’ve ended and begun my year," said Amaal to t2 after his performance

DJ Girish was on console duty before and after Amaal's performance and in a typical Girish style, he played a super set, balanced with old retro hits and latest chart-topping songs
