St Stephen's school students celebrate 75 years of India's Independence
Students showcase their talent through stage shows, dance and singing performances at Mahajati Sadan, Kolkata

"We had planned to dedicate our annual concert to the Amrit kal of India's Independence. Our teachers and students worked relentlessly for hours to make the show a reality,” said Ayesha Iqbal Siddiqui, principal of St Stephen’s school.

Moinu Hasan, a Class VI student, echoed the sentiments of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose through the slogan “give me blood and I promise you freedom”

The role of Mahatma Gandhi was spectacularly enacted by Class 10 student, Ali Zeya Sabri, under the guidance of his teachers
In the fashion show segment of the event, students wore traditional attires representing 28 states of the country depicting the theme of “unity in diversity”
"The level creativity displayed by the students goes on to show that when given the right platform to perform in any field, the little ones can do wonders,” said Saba Ali Feroz, special guest at the annual concert
