Dipanshi Baid of Calcutta-based fashion label Alok & Harsh was excited about their latest wedding couture pieces for men and women. “We have this lovely lehnga in pastel shade with jungle motifs. Like all the rest of our finest collection, it is handcrafted and done with the best workmanship possible. Besides, we have a pret collection in womenswear, some exquisite saris and hand-done bandhni jackets and bandhgalas for men,” she said.

Featuring bridalwear, jewellery, shoes and bags to art objects, the fourth edition of The India Story Wedding Diaries, a Neotia Arts Trust initiative, presented by Chivas Glassware, in association with t2, the two-day premier wedding fashion showcase at Swabhumi on August 26 and 27, offered a stunning prelude to the autumn and winter wedding seasons that are just around the corner. Curated by Madhu Neotia, the managing trustee of Neotia Arts Trust, and her team, it brought together the best of contemporary bridal fashion from across India with participating designers from cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Bengaluru, besides Calcutta, offering shoppers a pan-India experience.
