Xavotsav ’23, in association with The Telegraph, was the muchawaited annual fest of the Xaverians, held last month on the Park Street campus after a long gap of three years. Xaverians put in their heart and soul to keep up the grandiose legacy of the popular college fest. The idea behind this year’s theme, ‘Mirroring the Mystique’, centres around exploring the unexplored, unorthodox and fantastical elements, which merge into reality and mirror the mystique. The two-day intra-college fest saw students participating in over 60 events where each individual showcased their creative potential in the dance competition, theme walk, fashion show, quiz, face painting, rapping and beatboxing, and many other athletic events. Performances by guest artistes like DJ Greff, musical duo Sourendro-Soumyojit and esteemed vocalist Aaryan Banthia gave the students entertaining moments that will remain etched in their memories.
