Roxy at The Park hosted a Halloween-themed bash titled ‘Fear Street’ on October 28. The night was filled with eerie and spooky vibes. The decor included full-sized likeness of skeletons done up with tattered garments pinned to the walls, hovering over the heads of the partygoers, adding to the creepy vibe of the party. A skull-faced mask welcomed guests at the entrance, transforming the doorway into a graveyard scene, complete with white fabric stained in ghastly red hues. Throughout the pub, cobwebs, dim candlelight, ghouls and skeletal figures, and other lifelike props contributed to the ominous mood of a spooky Halloween night.
In the centre, there stood an artificially desiccated tree with skull lamps, jack-o’-lanterns, and balloons hanging from its branches. Orange and red lights illuminated the tree’s branches, casting an eerie glow over the scene.
A giant ghostly figure was constructed, draped in tattered robes, with a ragged scarf wrapped around its head. Suspended in its grasp was a cage containing an artificial dead crow, positioned amidst a withered tree near flickering candles. It appeared as if a ghoul itself was overseeing the graves at night.
DJ Joy Banerjee played mixed and mashup tracks like Turn of the Lights —Swedish House Mafia, Get Your Freak On — Halloween mashup, and Thriller — Halloween acapella edit. “Halloween at Roxy is always special to us, a week-long celebration filled with themed delights, captivating decor, spooky costumes, and a symphony of hauntingly good music,” said DJ Joy.
