Indian Museum played host to Vasant Utsav that saw Dona Ganguly light up the stage along with her dance troupe Diksha Manjari and participants from a special workshop whom she trained just for the special performance. “The performance went very well. As I was telling you earlier, Indian Museum forms the perfect backdrop for a classical performance like ours as it celebrates heritage and culture,” smiled Dona.

Sundeep Bhutoria presented a special narration comprising poems from Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam and Gopaldas Neeraj. “This event with Dona Ganguly was long overdue, although I did give her a recording of poetry once before at a Holi event. I am glad the date finally matched this year and I managed to do it. Reciting at the historical Indian Museum was a unique experience,” he said.
