What truly set this performance apart was Rupam's ability to seamlessly transition between musician and storyteller. With each anecdote, he drew the audience deeper into his world, inviting them to experience the music not just as a series of notes, but as a journey of the soul.

Speaking to My Kolkata, Rupam said: “I am very technical about the delivery when it comes to Ekok. My sole aim is to deliver whatever I had thought as it rarely happens that I perform solo. As a lead singer in Fossils, I understand that one stage performance is equivalent to 10 rehearsals. As of today’s performance, there were numerous songs that I sang for the very first time. The entire thing was challenging, as I do not believe in reading notes and singing, however it is a challenge I keep giving to myself for my audience.”
