After a three-month-long contest consisting of intense box cricket battles between 10 teams, Red Riders Indoor Premier League 6.0 in association with The Telegraph concluded with a spectacular finale held on January 20 at Orchid Sports Arena in Topsia. Organised by Red Riders Sports Club, the tournament generated an exciting and highly competitive sporting atmosphere throughout, with the teams fighting tooth and nail for a berth in the finals. Team Eagles and Safcon Lions were the rival finalists in this edition of the tournament and battled it out for the championship title in a close, hard-fought encounter that could have swung anybody’s way. The former team ultimately prevailed and emerged victorious to earn the coveted Legacy Trophy.

The final match was followed by a grand awards ceremony and after-party, complete with a bonfire, music and dancing. Red Riders Sports Club president Harsh Agarwal expressed his satisfaction with the event’s success, commending the teams for their spirited performances and the organisers for orchestrating a memorable sporting extravaganza. He emphasised the importance of such leagues in promoting camaraderie and skill development among the players.

Besides awarding the winner and runner-up teams, awards were also given out to players whose outstanding contributions added an extra edge of competitiveness to an already action-packed experience for players, organisers and spectators. Varun Kothari shone as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament for showcasing exceptional skills in batting, bowling and fielding. Shivam Arora was lauded as the Best Batsman, while Vidit Choudhary and Bhavin Thakker won the awards for Best Bowler and Best Fielder respectively. Snapshots.
