Set in informal, relaxed surroundings filled with unlimited fun, food and music, Outram Club Holi Celebrations in association with t2 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and gusto by members and guests. Nearly 300 people flocked to the tennis courts of the club on March 7 and spent a memorable afternoon in the company of family and friends. A part of the club’s annual event calendar now and an initiative of the committee, the mood at the club’s first Holi celebrations was lively, upbeat and energetic. The club wore a festive, vibrant look with people dressed in bright colours and spotless whites, a Holi wardrobe staple. Rainbowcoloured decorations at the club along with multicoloured flower rangolis added to the atmosphere of fun and festivity. These young ladies were the first to break into a dance in tune with the peppy numbers performed by the young singer duo for the afternoon. Their infectious enthusiasm made others join in and soon there was a large crowd of people of all ages dancing and enjoying themselves.
