At Outram Club, spirits were high in the past week with a weeklong host of events, at the Outram Club Winter Carnival, in association with The Telegraph. With a longstanding heritage, Outram Club ushered in the festivities at their full extent after the lull created by the pandemic for the past two years. Starting from Christmas Eve, the club had organised a number of musical events and hosted a large number of guests, till December 31. The line-up of performers was focused on encouraging young talents in Kolkata.
Day 1 saw an electrifying performance by singer Snigdhajit. On December 25, the second day of the event, a children’s party was thrown where the main attraction was Santa. Later in the evening, a programme was held by the women of the club. A soulful evening of ghazals by Kaushik Chakraborty marked the map on the third day on December 26.
Guests at the club were spotted enjoying the various events at the club
“With The Telegraph becoming our media partner, the Winter Carnival gained a lot of mileage and value. Big thank you to all the sponsors, members and guests who have come forward to make this carnival a grand success. The Telegraph’s support has also been very helpful for our other sponsors who are getting the right kind of visibility by associating with us this year. I look forward to getting such support in future as well,” said Sudipto Bose, honorary secretary, Outram Club
