YFLO Kolkata, the organisation that focuses on growth, networking and exchange of knowledge for its members through entertaining and insightful events, recently hosted two events for their members. Personality development coach Seema Puri conducted a workshop on personal grooming and etiquette called ‘Elevate Your Personal Brand’ at The Park. Puri started the workshop by emphasising the importance of personal branding. She explained to the members what personal branding is — presenting oneself in the best possible light and creating a strong and positive image that sets one apart from others. Her next topic of discussion was the various aspects of personal grooming and etiquette that can help one to enhance their personal brand and get the desired results. She focused on the importance of body language while demonstrating various body language cues, such as eye contact, posture, and gestures, and explained how they can affect one’s image. She also shared tips on projecting confidence and approachability through body language.

In her session, Puri also pointed out the various etiquette practices that one should give attention to, including proper table manners, communication etiquette and social etiquette. She further informed the members on this subject by sharing tips on how to make a good first impression, how to communicate effectively and how to handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism. The session concluded with a question-and-answer round with the members.

The members were in for a treat at the session ‘Elevate Your Circle’, hosted at Warehouse Cafe in South City Mall. This event gave members the opportunity to network, bond and enhance member engagement through fun and engaging games. Members were divided into several groups for participating in a series of games, including trivia, puzzles and physical challenges. In a fun and relaxed ambience, the members bonded over challenges and shared experiences. Snacks and drink options fuelled the spirit of the members.

“Seema Puri’s workshop on personal grooming and etiquette was a valuable experience for YFLO Kolkata members. It helped members understand the importance of personal branding and Puri provided practical tips on how to enhance their image through effective grooming and etiquette practices. The event was a great success and members felt empowered to elevate their personal brand. Our next event at Warehouse Cafe created a positive and welcoming atmosphere that encouraged members to build relationships and connect with each other,” said Priyanka Agarwal, chairperson, YFLO Kolkata.
