Mongrace Montessori House on Short Street completed 60 glorious years on February

The first act of the evening was a rendition of Tagore's famous play Tota Kahani, wherein a parrot is captured and forced by the king to learn the ways of books and words but what actually nurtures the parrot best are the open skies. A relevant message that each child has their own unique way of learning, and the role of teachers and educators is to make sure they get the best environment to be themselves and learn.

Established in 1964 by Monjushree Chatterjee and Grace Wasim Pina, Mongrace Montessori House on Short Street completed 60 glorious years this month. The institution rests on the ideals of the Montessori system of education proposed by Maria Montessori, which encourages discovery, learning, exploring and experimenting.
