It was a sultry Sunday afternoon made better on June 18 at the newly opened AMPM at Park Street, as the musical duo MOJO with brothers Kunal Dey on vocals and Soham Dey on the guitar put up a lovely live show! The artistes were joined by the classically trained guitarist, Anubhav Dasgupta aka Deepto and the blues vocalist of the soul music band The Con Souls, Rupsha Sen. The brothers Soham and Kunal played numbers like The Scientist (Coldplay), Free Fallin’ (John Mayer), Fly Me To The Moon (Count Basie and Frank Sinatra) and Creep (Radiohead), among others. They belted out numbers like Sultans of Swing (Dire Straits), Smooth (Santana), and Tears in Heaven (Eric Clapton) when Deepto joined them. Rupsha joined MOJO and added Smoke on the Water (Deep Purple), Stayin’ Alive (Bees Gees) and We Are the Champions (Queen) to the setlist. MOJO is currently doing plenty of live shows around clubs and cafes in the city. Snapshots:

“Seeing how the city has so much live music, especially after the pandemic, is lovely. I think the music scene has revived and come back stronger than ever. It feels absolutely wonderful to be a part of the music scene for a decade now. Catch us live at this beautiful venue soon,” said the founder rhythm guitarist and manager of MOJO, Soham Dey.
“It’s fantastic to have new venues in town, especially in a city which has so much talent. Long live the music scene and our beloved City of Joy,” said the main vocalist of MOJO, Kunal Dey
