Chetas Shah, better known as DJ Chetas, brought the house down last month at Drunken Teddy. The night that aimed at celebrating friendship had a full house where guests dropped by nice and early to dance to the tunes of the Mumbai-based DJ who was the first Indian DJ to be featured on DJ Mag’s Top DJs list in 2015. Chetas opened the set with Dil nu, a popular AP Dhillon track besides other Punjabi tracks like Excuses, Cheques and Still rolling. Also known for his mash-ups, he played fine mixes of Deva Deva, Rangisari, Kesariya, Maan meri jaan, Apna bana le and Kahani suno 2.0, making the vibe romantic and mushy. Tera yaar hoon main and Yaara teri yaari were the friendship-themed tracks that got the loudest cheers. The stellar performance was supported by Rishi Raaj, official anchor for Chetas.

It gives us confidence to bring up more such nights and take city party scenes to another level,” said Akshit, co-owner of Drunken Teddy.

“The performance was exuberant, the vibe was great! We were there to celebrate our friend’s birthday and it was a big gang. All we did was move and groove,” said Priyanka Bhalotiaa with husband Ravi Bhalotia.

Wearing a tangerine bodysuit with denims, Priyanka Das cut a stylish frame. “This is the second time I am watching Chetas Live, first being in Goa. I thoroughly enjoyed his set and danced my heart out,” she said.

“It was a crazy night with top music. DJ Chetas played a fine set with romantic to dance numbers. The event too was well organised. Loved the vibe,” said Srishti Nakhat, looking pretty in a tulle skirt and off-shoulder top.
