It’s on this occasion that even professional musicians come together to celebrate music and not pursue it professionally. I feel great that we managed to gather so many eminent artistes for Kreamz of Bengal,” said co-organiser of Kreamz of Bengal and lead singer at Prasen er dolbol, Prasen.

Showcasing a lineup full of the crème de la crème of the musicians in Calcutta, Kreamz of Bengal Music Chapter 2023 held a concert at EZCC in Salt Lake on World Music Day. The event was a great success. It was an all-encompassing initiative dedicated to the day of music and accomplished musicians of the City of Joy. It was an initiative of the confectionary store, Kreamz (a unit of the Aditya Group) in association with the band Prasen er Dolbol and included artistes like Anindya Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghosh, Upal Sengupta, Rupankar Bagchi, Durnibar Saha, Khnada, Porshia, Pota, and many others, who graced the stage with Bengal’s rich musical traditions.

“The Music Chapter 2023 of the ‘Kreamz of Bengal’ serves as a tribute to the individuals who have carried the rich musical heritage of Bengal to the global stage. Through this celebration, our aim is to honour the exceptional musicians who have significantly influenced the landscape of Bengali music. Their artistry and unwavering commitment have touched the hearts of millions, and we consider it a privilege to showcase their talent on this esteemed platform. The ‘Kreamz of Bengal’ remains dedicated to promoting and preserving the cultural treasures of our beloved Bengal,” said Anirban Aditya, the chairman of Aditya Group.

The event celebrated classical, folk and contemporary musicians prevalent in Bengal. The performances accentuated the cultural richness embedded deep in the tunes. The soul-stirring and enthralling performances by the artistes present captivated the hearts of those present at the show.
