Friends, family and well-wishers gathered in front of Dolly’s — The Tea Shop in Dakshinapan on May 5 to celebrate the spirit of Dolly Roy, India’s first tea-taster who had gifted the city its first tea boutique. Anchored by Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee and SV Raman, Hello Dolly! also saw musical performances. It was attended by a host of people from different backgrounds. While actor Moon Moon Sen fondly recalled her bonding with Dolly, MP Jawhar Sircar reminded how she influenced the culture scape of the city.
