The third edition of the Sanmarg Business Awards in association with The Telegraph honoured passionate and committed business leaders of Bengal.

Organised by the leading Hindi daily in the city and held on January 12 at ITC Royal Bengal, the award celebrates excellence and achievements across sectors and industries and aims at motivating the resilient spirit, innovative strategies, concern for community initiatives and overall financial goals achieved by business houses. The awards were given under different categories and they included Excellence in Education, Excellence in R&D and Innovation, Excellence in Real Estate, and Excellence in Manufacturing and Heavy Industry among others. The highlight of the evening was the Naveen Soch Ki Khoj award, which gave new entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a jury comprising industry experts.

They said, “The third edition of Sanmarg Business Award has been extra special because we thought of connecting every businessman to his karma, as we got inspired from the Gita. It has been an eternal journey. We feel proud of the work we are doing. We wanted to make every businessman feel extraordinary as a karmayogi and feel proud of themselves and their work. That was the essence of the entire evening.”
