Backyard Pop-up aims to create a platform for sustainable products from brands owned by small business owners of the city. Speaking to My Kolkata, organiser of the pop-up, Utsha Das said, “After the transformative period following the lifting of the Covid lockdown, we decided to take a two-year break. Now, with our 11th edition, we invite people again to explore these incredible brands as we usher in the Kolkata winter”

Jewellery enthusiasts can revel in collections featuring resin art and metals from brands like Melodram, Gemini Art and Craft, and Attoja. Melodram by Malini Bhattacharya brought her exclusive collection of pure silver and brass jewellery to the pop-up. Bhattacharya said, “We have been associated with Backyard Pop-up for the last few years. I started this brand very casually with the motive to provide skin-friendly jewellery. Slowly, it expanded and I have a store in Jodhpur Park now. This year, I am excited to feature my exclusive jewellery collection and meet new people through this pop up!”
