Acclaimed danseuse and actress Mamata Shankar was also felicitated by the committee. She was awarded as Best Actress in a Character Role. Shankar also received the letter of appreciation on legendary actress Sabitri Chatterjee's behalf. Chatterjee was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. Shankar reminisced her memories with Uttam Kumar, visiting his family home in Kolkata during Lakshmi Puja, and meeting him as a child right after the icon received the National Award for ‘Nayak’.
