It was boozy bonhomie and bubbly buzz at the Ballantine’s Stay True Glassware presents The Telegraph The Calcutta Swimming Club X-MAS EVE on December 24. Celebrating Christmas and the euphoria that the festive season brings, CSC lived up to the hype with an evening that sang in perfect melody to the the hearty Yuletide spirit. With numerous club members and guests coming together to celebrate the season with their loved ones, the mood, the food and the energy made sure the ushering in of Christmas at midnight had the same electrifying energy as the late evening hours. Yo Yo Honey Singh was the main attraction of the evening, who made people across age groups groove, laugh and dance their hearts out with DJ Akash warming the ground up with the party spririt. It is not Yuletide without the decorations and the gustatory offerings and CSC rode high on the energy to offer and present them without the slightest of hiccups. DECOR
The decor that made the premises of CSC brim and shimmer with Yuletide spirit had all the essentials crafted that way, with a beautifully dressed Chritmas tree, lights, selfie corners, candles and the vibrant splash of red, green and white, which contributed to the fuzzy yet fun ambience of the evening.
WHAT THEY LOVED
“My partner Stuti and I are so excited to have been part of such a spectacular event at CSC. We’re delighted that our desserts were able to make the City of Joy’s Christmas Eve celebration much sweeter. Our cheesecake slices and macarons turned out to be the highlight of the night,” said Vasundhara Kochar (right) who made sure their baked goodness spread some good old love and was the utimate crowd-puller on Christmas eve.
“It was a good evening spent with close friends at CSC, my favourite club and watching Honey Singh live was double bonanza making my evening better. It is the festive season and the time for celebrations of this sort, and what better place to celebrate it than CSC. We had amazing fun,” said actress Richa Sharma, looking gorgeous in a sequinned sari.

Each member and guest was made to feel special with the excellent bar and food service, personalised candles and detailed Christmas decor,” said Chokhany.
Manoj Rathi, a club member and co-owner of The Cult in Sector V, looked dapper in a classic black fit.
MUSIC
Yo Yo Honey Singh in the house guarantees fireworks and energy till the very last note and the Bolly hitmaker made sure the CSC floor grooved late into the night, keeping the energy soaring with every number. As the beats to the hit numbers like Chaar bottle vodka, Blue eyes, Lungi dance, Gatividhidi dropped, the crowd went ballistic, singing along and vibing to the catchy grooves of the Honey Singh specials. He closed the night giving a shoutout to the Bong culture and tradition of music that has made sure every person here nursed music inside them, some way or the other.
DJ Akash Rohira played the perfect prelude to the final act, by warming up the floor with hit Bollywood party numbers that got the crowd in the mood. CSC did not tire out dancing past midnight, certainly defining the spirit of the festivity.
The delectable range that CSC offered consisted of munchies like fish finger, masala chips, nachos to be paired with the drinks; appetisers in the form of a spread of kebabs and Chinese starters. The Indian main course spread had naan, Mutton Rogan Josh, Dal Makhani and other preparations while the Chinese spread had noodles, Hot Garlic Chicken, Hunan Chicken, et al and their veg alternatives. The desserts and the beverages complemneted the spread, with numerous options to choose from.
