Flo Bazaar, in association with The Telegraph, was a gala exhibition this year with over 60 brands from across the country showcasing their range of products. Hosted by Ficci Flo Kolkata at Taj Bengal, the exhibition showcased everything under one roof, starting from apparels and accessories to home decor. Both established as well as emerging brands took part. Snapshots:

Raima Sen, who inaugurated Flo Bazaar this year, turned up in a beautiful green sari.

“FLO Bazaar 2022 showcased brands for one’s home and festive needs.With a focus on promoting women entrepreneurs from the city and across the country, we had a huge product range including designer wear, accessories, luxury home decor, shoes and art products from almost 60 brands to bring to people the perfect retail experience.It’s definitely been exciting to see the committee come together and work towards making this event an absolute success,” said Shradha Saraf, chairperson, FICCI FLO Kolkata.

The 121 Couture corner was prettily decked up with floral decor  and displayed a huge variety of lehngas with cutdana and sequin work along with embroidery. The contemporary trend of fringes was a highlight of this collection. Rs 1,00,000 onwards.

With the festive season here, spruce up your home with these garden decor pieces made of marble dust and resin from CISA. Rs 1,500 onwards

Tussore silk and zari kota handwoven pieces and leheriya outfits made up Urvashi Kaur’s showcase at the exhibition. Rs 7,000 onwards

Kath Wala put up a beautiful corner with candle decor sets for the festive season ahead. We loved the gift boxes and corporate gifting sets — all made of wood. Rs 300 onwards.

Apart from lehngas and long flowy dresses, short dresses, saris and contemporary outfits featuring zardozi and aari work on silk were part of the new fall collection at RI Ritu Kumar. Rs 40,000 onwards

Keeping up with the metallic trend, these silver and golden-plated capsule clutches are perfect for making a statement with your occasionwear,  festive wear or party wear outfit. Rs 2,500 @Niche Nashh

Keeping in mind the festive season ahead, House of kSara by Shradha Saraf, put out a vibrant collection of bandhni, easy fits and floral embroidered outfits. Rs 15,000 onwards

Satin silk pearl-detailed skirts and pants paired with contemporary tops in soothing pastels featured in Taarini Saraf’s collection. Rs 20,000 onwards

“I loved attending Flo Bazaar this year as it is really well-curated. The three NGOs that participated showcased great products. I really liked how they are associating with them and helping them rather than just making it an exhibition for buying clothes,” said Pritee Poddar, home-maker.

“This is our first time at Flo Bazaar. It had some really nice exhibitors but I mostly liked the jewellery. I really liked the stall put up by Nornament,” said Mehr Sethi and Shiv Dandan, event managers.

“I liked how the stalls were spaciously assigned making it an easy shopping experience for us. I loved quite a few stalls and picked up some items for my mum,” said Suniti Kedia, a doctor.
