Bengal Rowing Club hosted Christmas carnival, ‘BRC’s On A Mission Space’, in association with The Telegraph, on December 25. A club tradition since the past 40 years, this year’s theme was ‘space’. The carnival, which attrated visitors from all age groups, was mainly focused on kids’ entertainment with many rides, exciting activities, games and mouth-watering food stalls. The gala event also featured peppy, foot-tapping songs for the audience to dance along with.

Children got a chance to meet Santa Claus, who danced to Christmas numbers and distributed gifts among the children. Activities like nail art, painting your own Christmas card, slime making, ziplining, hand-painting and a time zone for toddlers were some of the best crowd-pullers at the carnival. Many members of the club also took part in the event by setting up and managing their own fun activity stalls. Snapshots.

I won biscuits, soft clay and scratch pads,” said Samaira Sirohia (centre), a class V student of Modern High School for Girls, who was there with her friends
