Fashion aficionado and curator Manjri Agarwal hosted AMPM’s founder and creative head Priyanka Modi (right in picture above) at Glenburn Penthouse on October 17, where a special preview of the fashion house’s latest edit Nirvaan was showcased. Titled Dressing The Indian Woman with AMPM, the session saw celebrity stylist Edward Lalrempuia (left in picture above) giving out styling tips to YFLO members who were invited by AMPM. From talking about their personal styles to do and don’t in fashion and amping up the look without wearing heavily embellished clothes, the session had everyone’s rapt attention. The duo also demonstrated ways to style and restyle with AMPM’s new edit.

Reflecting upon the brand’s 20-year journey in the industry, Priyanka said, “It’s truly a proud moment for me. There’s so much gratitude for the people who have been part of the journey, including my partners because it’s because of them the brand has been thriving.”

The exclusive premiere of AMPM’s Nirvaan housed the easy and liberating silhouettes from the new collection and included shrugs, draped saris, dresses, jewellery, bags and footwear.

“We always worry about styling hence for this fashion event we got a celebrity stylist on board and the session turned out to be so enriching. Edward was very friendly and patient, answering each and every query with a smile. Also, we wanted to create an event where there can be good takeaway for the guests, so that demonstration session really worked out well,” — Shilpa Sethi, YFLO Chairperson

“When I went to the AMPM store in Delhi I was blown away by their transformation and I wanted to bring to Calcutta their new look. I am so happy with the response. These young entrepreneur women who are ready to experiment had a great time getting the right style tips from an expert for the festive season. I personally love the white draped sari,” — curator and host Manjri Agarwal
