CC&FC's festive calendar turns out to be a great mind blowing event at Oktoberfest

Held on September 30, the third edition of Oktoberfest in association with t2 marked the start of the festive season at CC&FC. This Germany-themed carnival was an event full of fun and frolic in which members and their families engaged in night-long revelry and bonded over the best of food, drinks, music and exciting games. Designed to match the colourful, merry vibes of Germany’s autumn festival, the entrance and hallway of the club were adorned with glowing lights of various hues and Oktoberfest flags. People sported funky Western wear that blended well with the theme of the weekend party. Performing for the first time at CC&FC, The Yellow Taxi music band played foot-tapping numbers that made spirits soar. Besides, several exciting games and activities like face painting, beer shots, best poser contest and a quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation of members across all ages, making it a memorable night of celebration. Entrepreneur Siddhant Digvijay Jaitha was spotted in a bright yellow beach shirt, flaunting his cool vibes with a pair of quirky shades over his eyes.

“Oktoberfest is an event that we have been organising on a regular basis for the last few years. The festival ushers in October, which is the start of the festive season for everyone in the city. As with any festivity, we ensure that good food is never missed. So, we have a variety of food and drinks for our members to indulge in,” said CC&FC president Subrata Das.

“Oktoberfest is the first big event of this year's party and festive season. We have planned a lot of ground activities in the coming months. The crowd here today looks very promising and so we are looking forward to having more such events. We hope to make this a bigger event in the following years,” said entertainment head at Oktoberfest, Hirak Dasgupta.
