Calcutta Club welcomes September with a grand musical evening featuring the Band Enrich

In a bid to celebrate the changing season and the beauty it brings along, the Wine & Cigar Sub Committee of the Calcutta Club, in association with t2, organised the first event of the new club year 2023-24, with sumptuous food and great music on September 9.

Dressed for the occasion, club members across age groups grooved to some foot-tapping numbers belted out by the band Enrich. Some of them won prizes too for showing off their best moves.

Anusua Das, chairperson, membership and Wine & Cigar Sub Committee, Calcutta Club, the lady behind the evening, said: “Looking at the enthusiasm and participation of the members will give us an impetus to arrange more such evenings at regular intervals. Let this be the curtain-raiser. There are more surprises in store as we are coming up with ladies-only Masquerade Ball evening, Bling party, Single Malt evening, Wine and Cheese evening and many more interesting line-up of programmes in the days to come.”
