ICFAI Business School hosted its much-awaited annual cultural fest BRIO ’23-24, in association with t2, last month at their campus in Salt Lake and in Bidhan Garden. The two-day mega inter-college fest witnessed the participation of around 19 colleges from the city in several activities and cultural events. The performances of the students were based on this year’s theme of the fest — inclusivity. The participants used the platform to convey social messages based on the theme. Glimpses:

Ajay Pathak, senior director, IBS Kolkata, with Nirendu Konar, professor of analytics, inaugurated the event. “This is special because it is an event that’s entirely conducted by students. BRIO has always been for the students, of the students and by the students. They have been preparing for the last one month. It is necessary that the students conduct this event because apart from academics, the corporates who come to us, look for well-grounded personalities of the students. What we try to tell the students is to come out with more original ideas and new thoughts. I believe every student is super talented. The young generation has a lot of opportunities that were not there during our times. BRIO equates to energy, enthusiasm and at the same time bringing your intelligence out,” said Ajay Pathak, senior director, IBS Kolkata.
