On June 3, Saturday, The Calcutta Cricket and Football Club (CCFC) hosted Bhangra Nights in association with t2 with the riveting Bang Dudes performing. The duo, hailing from Ludhiana, had brought their A-game with their live performance, which included a mix of various styles such as percussion, live vocals and DJ-ing. The songs they featured were of many genres — pop, stylised Sufi among many more, and the songs were in Hindi, English, and Punjabi, with the set of course leaning more towards a distinct Punjabi vibe overall.

From effortlessly changing from one style to another, to keeping the energy of the audience at an all-time high, they truly wowed the audience. “It is the music that binds us together with our audience. It motivates us to work every day. We travel across India, so we observe people from different walks of life. And then according to the culture we see around us, we create mashups,” said the duo Jagdeep Singh and Munish Sharma of Bang Dudes.
