Band Fest ’23 was a two-day music festival hosted at City Centre New Town on June 24 and 25

Spread across two days, eight local acts featuring emerging pop groups and solo artistes performed for the special occasion, entertaining the crowd with original numbers and covers of old and new hit songs

Hamelin Starting their performance with Aha ki anondo as a tribute to Satyajit Ray, this instrumental music band played several more compositions of popular Hindi and Bengali songs like Monta Re, Roja, Tu hi re and Ekla cholo. They concluded their melodic performance with the hit playback track Mere dholna from Bhool Bhulaiyaa

“We had just dropped by the mall but got really intrigued by the music. The atmosphere is really nice,” said Dishari Roy, while she enjoyed the evening’s performance with a friend.
